The library has the perfect volunteering opportunity for you! Medicare Part D enrollment period is quickly approaching and we could use your computer expertise in assisting patrons find the right plan. All you need is a working knowledge of computers and some free time to spend here at the library. Interested? Call or come by the library today.
We have an exciting event being set up for Monday, November 7th beginning at 5pm. The Elma Ross Public Library is hosting, along with Mrs. Jam McAdams, Librarian with Anderson Early Childhood Center, the first ever Anderson Library Day at the Elma Ross Public Library. We are so excited to be working with Miss Jan on this event. All Anderson Early Childhood Center students and their parents and siblings are invited to come to the Elma Ross Public Library on Monday, November 7th beginning at 5 p.m. We want to introduce the public library to all the students and parents as well as show the connection between the school library and the public library. There will be a tour of the library, an overview of what the library offers, a story presentation, a small craft or two and some light refreshments.
We have Friends Night coming up shortly. Put the date, Tuesday, November 15th at 7 p.m on your schedule. We will be havingOakfield,TN resident and author Mrs. Geni Holmes with us. Mrs. Holmes has written a children’s book titled “Adventures with Papa and Jaycee with Duckey”. We are looking forward to having Mrs. Geni Holmes with us here inBrownsville. Everyone is invited to attend. There will be light refreshments served.
