Thank you to those who attended Lunch & Learn last week.  Our Director, Katherine Horn, gave a presentation about current library services and a demonstration about the new circulation program that the library and patrons use.  Did you know that you can access the library catalog at ANY time day or night?  You can!  The URL for the catalog is long.  Sorry about that, it couldn’t be helped.  Here is the full URL to access the new library circulation system:  http://tenv-verso.auto-graphics.com/iluminar/home.asp?lid=ross  You will have to have your library card number to log in as your user name.  Your library cared number is the 1BROW_______ number found on the back of your library card.  The default password is “userpass”.  Once you have accessed the site the first time, the system will prompt you to create your own password.  Ta da!  You can now access the catalog.

There is a calendar of events on the catalog.  Here are the events currently on the schedule for September.  The Library will be closed on Monday, September 3rd in observance of Labor Day.  Microsoft Power Point Class will be offered on Tuesday, September 4th.  The Friends of the Library Book and Bake Sale will take place on Saturday, September 8th beginning at 9am.   Microsoft Publisher Class will take place on Tuesday, September 11th.  Toddler Time will take place on Monday, September 17th at 11am.    Microsoft Excel Class will take place on Tuesday, September 18th.  Online Job Applications Class will take place on Tuesday, September 25th.  Lunch & Learn will be offered on Wednesday, September 26th at 12 noon.  If you haven’t already signed up for the Free Computer Classes, please do so today.  We have only 10 seats available and reservations are required.  Class times are from 8:30am – 9:30am and from 3pm – 4pm.  A Lab Day is offered on each Friday also from 8:30am -9:30am and from 3pm – 4pm for those who have signed up for the current weeks class.
