A hearty thank you to Dr. Joan Hartman, who was the guest speaker for last week’s Friends Night at the Library.  Dr. Hartman spoke about her most recent book titled “Amen and His Family.”  Dr. Hartman regaled us with several stories from the collection of short stories about her family and growing up as a preacher’s daughter.  Much fun was had by all.  Refreshments of punch and cookies were served and enjoyed.  Dr. Hartman also spoke briefly about her other two books, which she had written for children, titled “Sam’s Special Cookie” and “Grace Finds Gold.”  Thank you, again, Dr. Hartman, for sharing your talents with us.
