Who’s ready for some hot chocolate? We are! We love sitting on the couch, with a comfy, warm throw, sipping a steaming mug of rich, delicious hot chocolate, while reading a favorite book which you just happened to check out from your local library just that morning. That is the definition of bliss.

We would like to extend a very hearty “Thank you.” To all our Veteran’s. We hope that your Veteran’s Day was blessed. Thank you for your service to our country.

We always have fun at the library in the fall. It is a great time to fall in love with a book. Here is the schedule of events here at the library for the rest of the month of November. Monday, November 17th, we will have Toddler Time at 11am. All toddlers and their caregivers are invited to come to the library to hear stories, and color/craft.

Now this brings us to the month of December. There is a very special program which takes place in December. In fact the date is set for Friday, December 5th at 7pm for the Annual Gingerbread House Family Night here at the library. What do you like about the season of fall? Could it be the cool, crispness of the air? Could it be the leaves on the trees starting to change their color? Could it be watching the sun set a little bit earlier each day? Yes, it could be any one of those answers. What do we, the Elma Ross Public Library, like about the season of fall? We love that it is so easy to FALL in love with a great book to read, loaned to you from your favorite library in town! Happy Fall ya’ll!

The season of fall also heralds in the beginning of the dreaded flu/cold/sinus season. With that being said, if you are sick or contagious in any form, please stay home and recuperate. We will miss seeing you for a few days. We love all of our patrons, but we do not love the germs. If you are too sick to go to work or to school, you are too sick to come to the library. Thank you.
