The month of December is just flying by it seems. With so much to do during the holidays it is good to just take a break and read a chapter out of your favorite book. Just a few minutes, 15-20 is all it takes to read and relax for a moment. The Elma Ross Public Library will be closed on Thursday (Dec. 24), Friday (Dec. 25), and Saturday (Dec. 26) of next week in observance of Christmas. The library will also be closed on Friday, January 1, 2016, in observance of the New Year.

The staff of the Elma Ross Public Library would like to wish a Blessed Hanukkah to all who celebrate. Peace and blessings.

Everyone had a fantastic time at our Annual Gingerbread House Family Night held on Dec. 4. We read the stories of “The Gingerbread Baby” and “Gingerbread Friends”, then made gingerbread houses from milk cartons, frosting, graham crackers and candy. So much fun and laughter! We are wondering how much candy actually made it onto the houses instead of just being eaten. Hmmmmm? In any case, the houses were gorgeous . . .and tasty! We love offering this yearly program here. Until next year.

The Elma Ross Public Library will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, and 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday.
