Oh me, oh my, oh me, oh my, where is the time going? Mid-month already. At least that means that Thanksgiving is almost here. How do you celebrate this national holiday? Do you have turkey, dressing, and all the fixings? Yum yum yum. Do you visit family and friends? Eat, play some games, then eat some more? We hope that everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving Day. We want everyone to know that the Elma Ross Public Library will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Now that Thanksgiving is so very close, it is time to announce that the Annual Gingerbread House Family Night is just around the corner. Mark your calendars for Friday, December 2, at 7pm. Reservations will be required. We will begin accepting reservations on Monday, November 21. We enjoy this presenting this program each year, and we know that fun and excitement is had by all who attend. Hearing the stories of “The Gingerbread Baby” and “Gingerbread Friends” then making gingerbread houses out of graham crackers, frosting, and candy is fun for the entire family.

Happy Reading!
