Library Corner 12 15 16

Filed under: Uncategorized — Elma Ross Public Library @ 7:50 pm

We are quickly coming to a close for this year and what a year it has been. There have been some good times here at your library. What have been some of your favorite times here at the library? We would like your input so that we can plan programs accordingly. We have a few more programs that we are going to be trying in the coming year and we hope that you will be excited about them. There will be more about these new programs in another article.

While we love for patrons to come and check books out, we would like everyone to please remember to return books to the library instead of letting a friend or relative borrow them from you, especially if we have a “Reserve List” for a book. We know that most people love books and want to share them; however, if the library has a “Reserve List” for a specific title, and you let a friend or relative who isn’t on our “Reserve List” take the book from you, it means that the folks who are waiting on the “Reserve List” and who are “next in line to read it” are being ignored and we really don’t want that to happen and it makes us sad.

We want to remind everyone that the library will be closed on Saturday, December 24 and Monday, December 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday. We would also like to wish all of our Jewish friends a Happy and Blessed Hanukkah.

Happy Reading!
