Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray! Summer reading 2017 is HERE! Once again it is time for Summer Reading here at the Elma Ross Public Library. This year’s theme is Build a Better World! Storyhour programs will begin today, Thursday, June 1st at 1pm for Kindergarten through 6th grade and will run through July 13th. Please remember to fill out a registration form and get a book-log. Please keep up with your reading. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the program. How do we build a better world? Let’s think about it for just a second or two. How can we make our world better? What about if we take better care of ourselves? Our health? Our environment? Our home? Our pets? Our storyhour programs will be looking at how we can build a better world with our families, friends, and neighbors. Join us Thursdays at 2pm.

Teens and Adult Reading Contests have also begun as well. We know that everyone wants to read during the summer. No registration forms are needed for these two programs. There will be a reading contest for the months of June and July. Just fill out a “How I Liked This Book” form which may be found at the circulation desk. Let’s Read!

Happy Reading!
