Egads. That is all that we can say about not having a Library Corner article for several long weeks. We apologize profusely for this oversight. Due to health/medical issues with our Librarian’s family, no articles have been written lately. We are proud to say, that family things appear to be headed upwards in the right direction so without further ado, here is our article.

Yes, our dear dear patrons the Elma Ross Public Library is open to the public. We do require that you wear a face mask and that you wash your hands in the restrooms once you have entered the building. We are continuing to limit the number of available computers and are sanitizing them between each patron use. You may wander around the perimeter book cases but not through the free-standing stacks. If you need nay materials from the free-standing stacks, please make your request to a library staff member.

We are continuing to offer pre-recorded Storytime at the Library and Tween/Teen Time at the Library videos each week. Are you enjoying them? Are there other programs which you would like to try on-line? We are open to any idea right now. Would you be interested in some basic computer skills? Cooking? Sewing? Crocheting? Calligraphy? Or what about a “How to” series. Something like “How to change a tire?” Or sew a button? Or hem a pair of pants? What would YOU like us to offer as an on-line class? Let us know.

            Happy Reading!
