Oh my goodness gracious, we must apologize profusely for not having submitted a Library Corner article in several weeks. We do apologize for this oversight. We endeavor to do much better from now on in making sure our articles are submitted.
Let’s see where shall we begin? Oh yes, we had a fantastic time at the Dr. Seuss Family Night on Friday, March 5th. We very much enjoyed reading some silly Dr. Seuss stories and making Cat-in-the-Hat hats on Facebook Live. We certainly hope that this Family Night program can happen in-person next year but we did enjoy providing this program via Facebook Live. Please be sure to join us next year for Dr. Seuss Family Night.
The library is continuing to offer a variety of on-line programming here at your library. While we miss being able to offer programs in person at this time, we are very excited that we can offer programming on-line. So please join us for any and all of our on-line programs. We currently offer Storytime at the Library for 5 days a week, posted between 4-5pm. We offer Tween/Teen Time at the Library for 5 days a week, posted between 4-5pm. We offer Basic Skills Computer Class at the Library on Mondays, posted at 2pm. We offer Adult Craft Class at the Library on Tuesdays, posted at 2pm. We offer Teen Tech Time at the Library on Thursdays, posted at 3:30pm. And we offer Kids Craft Class at the Library on Fridays, posted at 3:30pm. Are there any types of programs that you would like us to offer here at the library? We are always looking for fantastic ideas about programs that we can offer.
Even though it is only March (March already? Where has the time gone?) we are currently planning our summer reading schedule. We will be using the READSquared software like we did last year. We will also be offering additional on-line programs for all ages. Please be sure to check our weekly newspaper articles/blog posts/facebook posts for additional information coming soon.
Happy Reading!
